i searched everywhere and i just tried your tip to upload profile picture at 320px*320px but it still appears blurry on small avatar size and on advertising sample on the right. I do upload a Png file (24). The image looks perfect as profile square picture but awfully blurred on small size avatar (aka 32×32). Do you have an other suggestion ? Should i try a 640px*640px ? I highly recommend you to write a little sentence when you promote a post in groups. In my opinion, it is better to write a word presenting the article rather than simply writing its link in a comment and sending it coldly. I moderate a group with around 1,300 people, and it is VERY time-intensive. My biggest problem is identifying new replies. For example, if a post gets bumped to the top that has 50 comments, I have to go on an Easter egg hunt and open up *every single comment* to identify the one or more comments with new replies. Like you I find the quality is awful and I had to resort to uploading to albums again, however this is not an ideal work around. I have business manager setup for my agency – I have access to a client’s page through business manager. The client doesn’t have an ad account, but wants me to run ads for them. We want to setup an ad account for them that’s billed to OUR agency payment method. I don’t see an option to create a new ad account to run ads for this client under my business manager. He’s non-technical and doesn’t know or want to setup an ad account under his personal FB login, so we can’t “request access” or “claim” an account that doesn’t exist. Yet the “create new” option under my business manager forces me to select “advertising on behalf of” … with only my agency name in the drop down as an option … so I don’t think this is the way to go since I’m not advertising on behalf of myself – I’m advertising on behalf of his business. I have a question on posting pictures with external links. I am having problems with the way that my links are showing up in the FB groups when I copy and paste from the g column. They are shown as a pic on the left side with the link info on the right and not with a big pretty picture on the top with the link info on the bottom like yours shows in the video. I don’t know what the secret sauce is or of any way to change the behavior. My first suspicion is that the images might not be pixel-perfect squares, so I’d look at that first. You can find the pixel dimensions in Finder on Mac or Windows Explorer on Windows, looking for Properties or Info. There are a bunch of other programs that can tell you that kind of information. A good free one for Windows is Irfanview. On Mac, the default image viewer Preview will do it (Tools > Image Inspector). If they’re not perfect squares, you could try cropping them and re-uploading them.

Dear fb, I always have loads of troubles w fb groups. Groups bully me w rules that people break. I always get in trouble and never do anything wrong. There needs to be more Human Resources for problem solving cause nobody sees situations correctly and blame wrong person. The block can’t always be a solution. Yes, it’s paving the way to advertise in groups. My biggest concern was that I’d build a community and someone else could advertise their product into it. Doing it this way (connecting the group to a page) means FB can tell that my group is “owned” by a business. Thanks David, do you know about the image resolution? I prepare my files for web at 72ppi but the other day I downloaded one of my images from facebook and to my surprise it was set at 96ppi. I always wondered why the facebook images don’t look as good as the original. I think I know now: heavy compression and if you did like me and prepare for 72ppi which then got up-scaled to 96 ppi then you are sure to have a horrible result.
