I am reading so many articles and I am unable to get a firm confirmation. It seems that your article is the closest one. From what I understood text will always be cropped when the image posted isn’t a perfect square, right? I created so many postcards and text gets cropped but when I upload on my personal Facebook image looks good.I can’t understand why. Yes, it’s paving the way to advertise in groups. My biggest concern was that I’d build a community and someone else could advertise their product into it. Instances in which it is appropriate to remove user content would include: advertorial content, harassment and abuse, derogatory or offensive language, threatening posts, and posts that contain sensitive information (credit card numbers, addresses, etc.). Instances in which you should address the comments instead of removing them include: customer complaints, negative commentary, and critical statements. You may not like what people always have to say, but in social, you always have to listen.

Great info. Thank you. I have a very specific question that nobody can seem to answer for me. I noticed a while back that when posting an album of photos on Facebook, the way it was displayed varied greatly from my phone vs. Desktop. While viewing on my phone the pictures are displayed in one long thread, scrolling up and down to view, where the quality is terrible and I’m not able to select individual photos to view full size. When I go to look at them on the desktop, they are displayed one at a time, full size, where you click on the right side of the picture to view the next image in album. I could just blame it on my phone, galaxy s5, but it doesn’t happen with every album I open. Specifically on other photographer’s pages, somehow they have it set up that pictures in their album are never displayed in this low quality, scroll down form. What’s happening? I did not see anything about troubleshooting Facebook on this page. I administer two groups and cannot see either one. I have the same problem trying to load other groups that I have joined. This is tad bit off of topic.. but hoping you can help. We know now that we want a group… but it’s the privacy setting that’s confusing. FB has a table that tells you about the security, however the last entry reads “who can see stories about the group on FB (like in news feeds and search” For closed it says “anyone” and for secret is says “only members”. What are “stories about the group”. This statement is contradictory to the rest of the table. We want a group that people can find, but that no one but members can see the contents of, including photos posted, posts, etc. Are these considered “stories”? Experiencing exactly the same problem. Seems images are now limited to 1200 x 628 pixels with the height being the most important. Anything larger will be resized. Like you I find the quality is awful and I had to resort to uploading to albums again, however this is not an ideal work around. Mostly I’m annoy that it seems to have only impacted on certain individuals as there are others still able to upload at 2048 pixels.
The Facebook pixel is a small snippet of code that you, your website engineer or a Facebook Marketing Partner can paste in your code. It tracks the people and the types of actions they take when they engage with your brand, including any of your Facebook ads they saw before going to your website, the pages of your site they visit and the items they add to their carts.

If you are slightly comfortable with dealing with code, feel free to paste the “conversion pixel” code right in between the  tags of the confirmation page. Otherwise, upload the “Facebook Conversion Pixel” plugin into wordpress and then navigate to the post/page edit screen in wordpress and find the box the plugin added where you can paste in your “conversion pixel.”

If groups related to your business already exist, you should definitely get involved to keep an eye on the conversation, learn from what people are saying about you, and help provide the brand’s perspective. You might even uncover some potential ideas for new product development. (We’ll get into more detail about finding and joining existing groups below.) But you should also create your own official group as the brand-endorsed meeting place for fans on Facebook, so that you can grow those relationships in a context that gives you greater control.
