So I increased the variables ( to 1000px x 1000px) and, sure enough, it then looked sharp. I can’t remember for sure, but I might’ve even gone with a traditional print ppi of 300. Maybe 150? I am managing several pages for a client. I am looking to clean up and streamline their Facebook pages. As of right now they don’t have a group. They host marathon and running events (non-profit). As of now they have their main Get Bold facebook page (it has the least likes/followers). I’ve just taken a look at the FB page, and I’m afraid I don’t follow. All the images I see are displaying regularly as squares on one side of the timeline or the other. Without seeing exactly what you mean, two possibilities come to mind: images will display full-width on many mobile browsers because the two sides of the timeline are condensed into one vertical column, or perhaps they’re using a separate FB custom page aside from their timeline. I resized and sharpened an entire directory of images based on your numbers and now it all has to be redone. Please correct this mistake ASAP so that others don’t have the same problem. If your pic is too small, you need to resize it to dimensions that work for Fb. I use pcimonkey.com to adjust and resize pics. You can go the the website, Click Open at the top to choose the photo you are trying to upload. Then scroll down to the bottom and click Resize. Then a box will appear so you can enter the new dimensions for your pic. Hope this helps!

At my work we recently created a fb profile in the company name and this has worked well for us, especially for being logged in to the ipad (to share posts across from instagram) which we all have access to. One problem I have sometimes is when I hyperlink to another page on my website for a lost pet or pet for adoption and the image cuts off the heads of animals – which is a bit distressing! How can I avoid this? I can upload a picture instead of using the suggested picture, so maybe I could create a different size image on white and then paste the whole image on it (with head!) so the animal shows in it’s entirety. This is GREAT information. I think that a good addition would be what the mobile versions of each of these sites displays. 2/3 of the visitors to my facebook page are mobile. Today I finally found a template that combined the cover photo dimensions for both mobile and desktop in one template (since one image needs to fit both places). It was a real help, but not as well done as what you do here.

Has anyone found a solution for this? I was the admin to 65 groups linked to my business page. I noticed on some of the groups’ Member section, I am no longer listed as an admin – yet I still get notifications when someone wants to join the group (but when I click to add them, there is nothing there). Also, when I go to the Settings – Groups section directly within my business Page, it says I am supposedly still an Admin of all 65 groups. It’s like I’m stuck in limbo somewhere. I’ve tried reading tons of forums for help. Any luck??
