While viewing on my phone the pictures are displayed in one long thread, scrolling up and down to view, where the quality is terrible and I’m not able to select individual photos to view full size. When I go to look at them on the desktop, they are displayed one at a time, full size, where you click on the right side of the picture to view the next image in album. I could just blame it on my phone, galaxy s5, but it doesn’t happen with every album I open. Specifically on other photographer’s pages, somehow they have it set up that pictures in their album are never displayed in this low quality, scroll down form. What’s happening? I’ve forced myself to only post one photo at a time because it doesn’t result in loss of quality. Do you have any advice?


FB does put all messages from groups into your newsfeed. Not sure how long it has been this way, but my newsfeed is cluttered with activity from all the groups I belong to. There are two things that I find odd about the way the slideshows currently display to visitors. The first is that the slideshow doesn’t advance automatically. So to see more than one image in the slideshow, your visitors will have to know to manually advance through. I suspect only a very small percentage will do so. The second thing is that if you turn off the option for Facebook choosing the images, it displays the images in the same order every time rather than randomly. Hey Priit Kallas could you check on your Pictures displayed in Facebook dimensions. The number is definitely incorrect. I resized and sharpened an entire directory of images based on your numbers and now it all has to be redone. Please correct this mistake ASAP so that others don’t have the same problem. I’m thinking max width of 1478px and max height of 1060px on 1900×1200 display resolution but I don’t know if that is correct or if different display resolutions change this.
Simply put, don’t ask people to give you information you won’t be using anyway. For example, if you sell apparel online, you probably don’t need to know the person’s job title or relationship status. Keep your form simple to attract more subscribers, or add extra fields if you’re okay with fewer email subscribers but more qualified leads with higher interest.
